Prop has been repaired and re-installed and she’s ready to go back into the water.

Pelicans. We spent an afternoon and overnight at Duck Key. These ain’t ducks.
As the fishermen clean their catch, the pelicans wait for a snack.
Today is Monday, Feb 20th.
LaNostra docked – start of today: As you can see, it’s a narrow alley to get out. This was a great slip spot but when it came time to leave, it didn’t leave much room to navigate. We thought we were in the right position but unfortunately our port prop struck a submerged rock about two feet below the surface of the rock wall on the left of this picture. A bad day.
The result; a bent prop blade necessitating having the boat hauled out of the water for inspection/repair. They had to remove the prop for straightening. Fortunately it was just one blade, no damage to the strut, shaft, or boat bottom. Same can’t be said for the building in the background. Damage from Hurricane Wilma.
